The Appelloop has been a unique running event in Olst since 1997, aimed at getting everyone moving, young and old. The Appelloop takes place every year on the Wednesday before the third Saturday in September, and this year the 26th edition will be held on September 18, 2024. The course is officially measured and certified, and your time is recorded electronically. This friendly event starts from the center of Olst and takes participants through the car-free countryside as the opening of the Olster festival week.
